Count me impressed, I’m actually glad I have Fox Viper here! He’s perfect for a turn of deteriorate-less, Garth-defending retaliation. Going to tech Martial Mastery to maximize my chances at combat spells, and Sparring Partner for a cheap drop / Grave helper. I feel good in my place of aggression right now

Grappling Hook is the only card that kills Garth, unless some unlikely suicide Grave + Sets-speed of the Fox. Even with Garth dead, Frozenstom would need either to go very down on cards or to accept losing his board, the latter allowing me to rush tech II.

Mannn, I would have LOVED to get Grappling Hook… Would have made this so much sweeter… Oh well. I’m going to go ahead and put Safe Attacking down for the eventual Birds, we’ll get Rook in on the action next turn and have Grave wreck stuff best he can.

Thoughts
I hadn’t seen Martial Mastery coming to tell the truth, but with me not drawing LB this turn, losing Garth wouldn’t have been that a mess. I’m surprised by some choices though ? Midband Grave SQL was just unbeatable with my board and hand, while two patrollers are easy to deal with, having both Deteriorate and StW.

I guessed so but then, why not skip Heroes’ Hall, and just midband Grave + patrol in SQL ? With Readiness you could kill my techn (or even Elite jav) and stick in SQL, with me having no option to get a kill save for maxbanding Garth first ? I mean, you saw I had no Nether Drain.
Didn’t think about make skeleton + sac the weak to clear the patrol and still have an attacker, thought I was safe and could get away with it Really wanted that Grappling hook so I could light you up

Early tower is a solid pick, as I’ve no way to boost skeletons. I hope Frozenstorm will rely heavily on DeGrey, so I can build my Graveyard plan B without too much pressure from him. With LB I must wait until T6 at least for tech II though… BC + Graveyard must do in the meantime. Nether Drain just in case Rook tries maxbanding, for possible instawin.

Thoughts
Having both LB in this hand isn’t good at all. If I cast one, I just admit I’ll never play Tech IIs, and if I don’t, I won’t cast it on next turn either. Maybe I can guess Frozenstorm didn’t earlytech DeGrey, so he won’t draw him on next turn, so I cas both LB this turn, try to destroy both Tower and Tech II next turn ? I’ll draw 4 and can sac a skeleton, so I’m sure to draw whatever I need, from Archery to Sac the weak and deteriorate. On the other hand, I’ve no hasty car to put into play with Garth maxbanding, and Frozenstom can summon 2 heroes… Let’s see what happens. I can deal 20 damage next turn (with midband Garth) not counting spells.
