Orpal does damage as -1 runes, so cal now has 2 of those, and is a 2/3

Sorry about that! Thanks for the reminder.

Argagarg canā€™t buff heroes :frowning: I tried to do that myself not too long ago.

Oops, sorry about missing that.

Arg! Well, at least this time I can easily fix things around. Iā€™ll swap the buffs between Water Elemental and Calamandra, so Arg will buff Water Elemental and Forestā€™s Favor on Cal.

EDIT: the immediate impact of this is that Cal takes 1 more damage from Orpal, therefore one more -1/-1.

Looks good, ty.

Iā€™m pretty sure this is wrong. Cal takes one more damage, but Forestā€™s Favor removes the -1/-1 rune she previously had, so she should still finish with 2 -1/-1 runes, and a 2/3 statline.

Ah! Right you are. Iā€™ll make that adjustment, but it doesnā€™t change my turn at all.

Sorry, I really should just manually track runes or something.

The wisp doesnā€™t get buffed by Midoriā€™s midband because it has resist 1.

Aw, cripes. Thatā€™s a big one.

Hold on while I figure things out and see if I can still make this work. Iā€™m probably just going to run Cal into a Rambasa Twin and use Wisp to kill the Skeleton Javelineer.

Everything looks right except Arg should be a 5/7 from killing Jaina. Am I good to go?

Gonna assume yes.

edit: I just realized that your Wisp would still be alive too. But it doesnā€™t change my turn since it canā€™t patrol from attacking and dies to the Abom anyway.

So I realized that technically Wisp wouldā€™ve survived thanks to the +1/+1, but Abomination kills it anyway. (Sorry; keeping track of all these buffs and debuffs is tricky!)

I think this is where I concede, actually. Abomination kinda shut me down something fierce! Not even Moss Ancient is enough to let me catch up. :frowning: I also leaned too heavily on my OTK combo. I got so excited about Moss Ancient buffed by Might of Leaf and Claw that I didnā€™t sustain myself enough elsewhere. And I had another MoLaC ready to go because of Versatile Style, but eesh I had nothing to earn back those runes with.

Alright, gg WP @EricF

Yea the turning point was definitely the VS + abom turn. Felt like I was scrambling to hold on before then. I definitwly need to get better at playing defensively with this team, all my p2 games have been very tough. Thanks for the match!
