Thoughts

[spoiler]I know I should have expected the Plasmodium to come out this turn but I really just wanted to believe that I had one more. He put down a lot more units than I expected and no Bird’s Nest for me this turn. Speed of the Fox would be nice, really anything with haste. (I actually find myself thinking that a lot, maybe I should play Red) I think at least Rambasa twins will hold the line enough I can build a tech 2 without it getting immediately trampled. Even though I can’t afford to play it this turn because of them. but just putting down Fox Viper or a hero won’t be enough to keep it safe.

Not really the hand I was hoping for next turn.

[spoiler]I could have used the sword rune on Grave to kill the argonaut but I am hoping he doesn’t do anything to crazy this turn and Grave will survive to use it on a better target. More money to play some of the stuff in my hand would hae been nice but I know I will lose if I don’t start getting my tech 2 stuff out.

I can kill and disable a lot of stuff with my next hand but not a lot of creatures to set up any offense the next turn. We’ll see how it goes.

Thoughts

[spoiler]Life Lessons, do stuff while you have the chance. I should have had Grave kill the Fading Argonaut. I also don’t have much creature wise to help me gain board control and my spell/hero approach isn’t strong enough to counteract everything he’s doing. In short, I’m falling behind and not sure how to catch up.

Maybe it would have been good to tech spells for sets but I feel like I just need some stronger stuff on the board.

Thoughts

[spoiler]I really wanted to be able to summon the lightning dragon but I know he could kill it if he wanted because I’ll only have the Aged Sensei and Grave patrolling. That will give him the choice of what he wants to hit (Tech 2, Dragon, Training Grounds, Tower)

But I spent the 3 on Snapback instead of the dragon to let me get rid of both heroes leaving the Knight of the Conclave as the only big threat. If he wants to kill Grave he has to have the Knight do it; and with the Aged Sensei patrolling only two soldiers can get through (and all of the soldiers that attack will die from the tower)

I went way down on cards but I can summon Rook or Sets next turn and max them, which should help me hold on a bit longer. I’m just worried about him building tech 3 since I haven’t been workering.

Really not sure whether I should put Grave in Scavenger or Technician.

Did the Mox have a plus from something to kill the Rambasa? It doesn’t matter either way, I’ll go ahead and concede now instead of drawing it out. Having the Training Grounds was really my only hope of being able to keep up. I knew at the beginning I needed to try to pressure you a lot and win fast, still not sure how to do that with White though, maybe I should have used more Ninjutsu.
