In retrospect, Promise of Payment would have given me the chance to play Rewind and clear the board. Although, I’m always confused about tokens. Do they count as a unit of the Tech level that brought them to the board or are they unaffected by Rewind?

Good game!


Tokens are always Tech 0 (which makes Stewardess of the Undone pretty good against token strategies.) Promise of Payment isn’t a bad idea, but remember you need Vir to cast it and then Prynn to cast Rewind, so you’d need either a Hero’s Hall or Tech II.

I don’t think Forgotten Fighter did you much good. I think it’s mainly for removing a patroller so you can attack something more valuable behind it. Otherwise, spending 2g and a card to make the opponent spend 1-2g and no cards just puts you further behind on board position. (Same for Detonate, especially when you have to skip a worker yourself to play it.) Some of the other stuff is just card knowledge, like knowing that the Neutral starter has 3 ways of sidelining Hardened Mox to kill your hero. (Timely Messenger, Spark, and Blight.)
