Unfortunately whiffed both Earthquakes. But I can kill Drakk kill before he does too much damage, and break his Tech2 for a turn’s breathing space. Should get to Quake next turn.

Building Tech2 Discipline, teching Training Grounds and a Mind Parry Monk to block direct Base damage and Kidnapping.

EDIT: reading the card properly, realize Mind Parry Monk blocks him targeting my units and heroes, not my buildings. So not as a good a tech as it seemed.

[details=For Penatronic]What was the fear of Sets that caused you to go for her and not deal 3 more to base? Having his Base at 1hp is way different from 4, as it can get done with Crash Bombers and Drakk as well as frenzied Gliders / Sharks or Ember Sparks + 1 more damage.

Shoot, even Bloodburn becomes a death sentence with a base at 1hp

Yeah in retrospect that was a mistake, couldn’t make lethal so decided to go more conservative, but really that costly considering how easily he threw up 18 freaking HP of patrollers in 1 turn… ridiculous

I’m no Red expert but one thing I have learned about Red: unless the very next turn something presents a very likely threat, put any damage you can safely spare to face XD

Even better is you could have sacrificed the taxman on the Scav Rambasa to get to 2 gold, and gotten Drakk out to block XD then he’s on 1hp AND you have Drakk ready to suicide FOR VALHALLA the next turn! All sets can do is stealth (and hit what) or fight drakk to her own demise

Also Kidnapping <<< Ember Sparks or Bloodlust + Crash Bombers when you’re pretty sure you’re going to be straight base racing
