A bit of an awkward spot, but I have enough to completely clear his offense aside from Oni after a solid Dark Pact chain. He has to have arrest or Iā€™ll be metamorphing into hopefully great position, and Iā€™m betting heā€™s trying for Art of War. Worst case he kills Vandy or Garth, and I tech up or Meta with Orpal if I draw it. Manageable I think.

Tech up and plant Vandy as a big wall in front, she likely dies (possible Garth does as well) but the upside is he has a bit of a whiff on units for Mirrors to copy, and then I can really squeeze heroes + tech 2 units.

Iā€™m a bit curious as to why you made a second mirror on T5. You could have instead spent the $2 to turn the existing mirror into a Crypt Crawler copy before killing the original. Then Crypt Crawler Mirror and Quince could have killed Garth and left the Haunt alone. You would have been down 2 patrollers, and Quince would be down 2HP, but heā€™d have nothing but Haunt on the board. Alternatively, you could have broken his HH, leaving Quince at full HP, and that might be more valuable to him than Garth.

I think thereā€™s a good argument to be made that the 2x mirrors at the ready stands to make a bigger play turn 6 than killing Garth or my HH. Doing either would have left him with nothing but Bigby + Quince for offense on the following turn, which gives me the option to either do what I did (if Garth dies) or float 4 with Garth in the SQL + tech up. Garth or Vandy are then 100% to survive in SQL.

With the 2 mirrors at the ready, he can wait to copy Bone Collector (if I play one) or Hound (if he has one) for free, kill both Vandy and Garth at the same time. That seriously douses my ability to come back

After a Lawful Search, I decided to impose Free Speech. Then, I thought a silenced Garth would not be a threat, so I left him alone and stocked up on Mirrors so I could fake-haste the units I knew I would draw at end-of-turn. I didnā€™t want to leave the Haunt alive because it would hit a building, and I prefer to have my Mirrors copy for free and not die at end-of-turn, when possible.

I canā€™t use the maxband ability to make a Bone Collector mirror without casting Community Service, which you havenā€™t seen me use yet. :wink:

I think Iā€™ll concede there, GG WP! The porky disable was spot on, and missing the nether drain on Oni when you killed Vandy was too much to recover from

I also drew meta off the porky disable, so I canā€™t even play for that next turn

GG. I didnā€™t think about how forcing draws could ruin somebodyā€™s timing, but itā€™s an interesting idea. I donā€™t know if it would be practical to do so deliberately, thoughā€¦

For the next game, can you please rig your starting hand to include a Haunt?

Done, I drew normal then swapped it for something thatā€™s less beneficial next turn. On mobile so Iā€™ll edit in the full turn, but Vandy haunt worker will be the thrust of it
