In the database ruling it does specify that sparkshot is combat dmg AND is blocked as itās combat dmg caused by an ability
Sharpo specifically says that Overpower doesnāt count a few posts later. The damage doesnāt come from Overpower, it just redirects it.
I guess it was wishful thinking that meant i found a post that agreed with me then looked no further xd

what i did in the wrong way?
I can confirm that I knewā¦ I teched one Now! and one tech 1 so I hopefully had options. this turn was good for you though as I didnāt have any good tech 0 units to Now! so destroying my tech 1 was good.
Also turn 4 you chose to kill Max over my tech 1, good choice because I had loads of Max spells in next handā¦
As for what went wrong I canāt really tellā¦ I can see you teched lots of Jaina spells that you didnāt use at all - anything different that wouldāve helped in place of them? i get that you wanted to Arrow my heroes or burn my base but if you were never in the right position to do that maybe something else has to change? Maybe something to counter my Mox (which was my MVP), a detonate for battle suits?
Only other thing I can think of is that despite you managing to build your tech II on turn 3 and getting a crashbarrow out turn 4, maybe a tech I unit on turn 3 has more impact?
Also please tell me if you notice any mistakes i make

argh pillage is so annoying; I want to hardened mox but if i want to tech 1 next turn then i get odd amount of money again and canāt spend it well. maybe spec lab? what cross-spec combos are there in purple??? slow time and warp-gate? sounds like you should be able to win with just one of them so second is waste of time
slow time and something though could work, maybe give forecasted units time to arrive? so past-future? i have fargo in next hand so should be able to defend my spec lab
i canāt do anything with upgrades, detonate works on buildings/workers
tech T1 - probably would work better, every my turn leaved me without any good table.
No Jaina spells/not so many of them: probably would work with base race if only i choose to go for a base race
