LLL 2: Mooseknuckles ([Past]/Peace/Finesse) vs. robinz ([Feral]/Strength/Truth)

I still think it’s 4/2, It starts as a 4/4, and takes 4 damage (3 from Stewardess, 1 from Tower). RG gives it 2 armor, so it takes 2 damage - thus ending as a 4/2.

What, if anything, have I missed?

You’re right - I cant’ do math apparently…

That prospector has earned you so much gold!

Yeah, you’re right. Just a pity he can’t stem the onslaught - this game has been an education in why low ATK units are not very good if they’re all you’ve got. Anyway, no more Merfolk gold for me because he’s desparately needed in an attempt at last-ditch defence.

PS (remember I can still see your hand): even more surprising than Prospector surviving till T7 is you not having workered Plasmodium yet!

Thoughts

Ugh, he didn’t need FF, how could I forget Prynn’s maxband? Tech 2 is gone, I have no useful combat units on the board (and no haste either), while his board is mahoosive. So, time to give up?

Probably soon - but not yet. Through sheer luck, my only 2 playable cards allowed me to give enough firepower to my Birds to kill off Prynn, which gets me my 6HP blocker back, AND gets Quince to midband. I didn’t have enough money to make the mirror a copy of anything, but so be it. What I have done is clearly the best I can do.

I’ve not checked carefully how much damage he can do. I know that, with a second NF in his hand, he could certainly have broken my Tech 2 again had I got gold from the Prospector rather than patrolled with it. At a quick glance I think this 1 extra HP in his way might make all the difference, but I could easily have added up wrong. And, although his current hand is pleasingly terrible, he could easily draw into something good through the Garrison. Actually, any spell would probably completely devastate me. It might as well be Art of War to let him do it in style

My biggest problem this game has been the lack of attack of my units, so his stuff keeps staying alive while mine dies. Yet I still have half a chance (OK, more like 1/10 of a chance) if I can just get Tech 3 built and hang on to it for a turn. Or the same with VT. (But my new hand is crap. At least I can go fishing with YT, but next turn will most likely be a concession.)

just realised I forgot to use EotC’s ability - but since you have a tower, that’s irrelevant anyway

You know, it’s only after a night’s sleep that I suddenly remember that your weenies have sparkshot :frowning:

I don’t think I’m allowed to change my turn though, nor do I want to - it’s unlikely to make much difference, and I don’t have the mental energy. I’ll wait for you to take your turn, but I think this game is basically over

Yeah, I don’t know exactly how you could have set it up to avoid sparkshot with that board. It’s really hard for your deck to handle a flooded board like this…
