Thoughts

Guess I’ll try the tech strategy each of my opponents thus far has assumed I’m going for. Probably teching a second Garrison and Overeager Cadet next. Concerned about my ability to actually land a Garrison while Cala is around.

Thoughts

Blood is no big surprise. I can and should kill Calamandra while I have the chance. Dropping my hand low seems like the right call here, since I’ll have a Garrison next turn as long as I protect my T2 building, and they have strong burst potential using Quince to copy big haste units. I also need to keep an eye out for that Ogre stealing Mox, but I’d wager they intend to close out the game now, instead of winning on value.

Thoughts

Thankfully, their copy turn wasn’t as harsh as it could have been. I can kill Quince or Tech II this turn. Quince is less scary without T2 units, but even a doubled Huntress is pretty strong here. I’ll wipe the board. Cadet drew me a second Garrison. 4 gold after the Geiger play, so playing it costs me further board development. I think it’s worth it. I have a 1/3 chance of drawing a unit after Neo Plexus, and no more heroes to spend the extra gold on should I miss. A second Garrison is a much better way of sticking a Garrison than a measly 3/2.
