We played this matchup for a couple of warm ups, and felt my deck gave some early advantage having spells in-colour with the natural opening hero. See how this one goes…

Next turn he’ll likely max Arg, buy a 1-drop (Aged Sensei?) and build Tech1. So I could face a 4/4 or even 5/5 Elemental (with buff from Arg mid and/or Sensei) that could take out a Bone Collector I put in SQL. So think I’m better with Tiny Basilisks as my first techs, threaten to walk through his Tech0s for a hero kill. Will just need to make sure I keep enough Skeletons in patrol to stop his Tech0s. Basilisks also useful later on if he goes Tech2 Growth, cheaply kill a unit buffed with runes. Spirit of the Panda on Elemental would be risky for him because of StW.

Bit surprised he’s giving up hero levels here. I’ll take Garth all the way to max, avoid getting SnappedBack before using the maxband summon.
Guess he’s planning for a T3 Tech2 build, likely Growth but maybe Ninjas. I’ll go Anarchy, try for Tech3 before his Ancients grow too big. Teching Bone Collector for Garth summon, and a Disguised Monkey (6 hasty damage for $4 if resurrected through Graveyard). If he goes Ninjas, I’ll add a Steam Tank for the HP to stop a Glorious Ninja.
