Oh, one thing I’m still unclear on: how much info do I put down for my units? On one hand, I want to put all the info out, for clarity, but on the other hand, i feel that’ll bog down the post. The reason I ask is because my Fox Primus has Frenzy 1 and Anti-air, but I didn’t know if that was common knowledge (or it’s assumed you’ll look her up). That should mean that your gargoyles are killed from FP’s Anti-air, I believe.
That being said, what are the unspoken rules for re-dos?
Generally, I like to list out any keywords that a unit has (so in Fox Primus’s case, both Frenzy 1 and Anti-air) along with any wordy abilities that are likely to affect my opponent’s ability to do things (like Setsuki’s “must pay $1 to attack this when not patrolling”). I recommend trying to condense anything that’s wordy, and I leave the burden of checking other things like Calypso Vystari’s exhaust ability on them.
In this case, since @Penatronic’s Gargoyles not only should have died, but the second one’s attack shouldn’t have been under the effect of Two Step, he’ll have to redo his turn to make it legal. In a casual game like this, it’s often fine to just have him reassign the attacks or decide not to attack, but in a tournament game he’d have to use the Revision History on his spreadsheet to return to that point, then make any changes, and then draw a new hand for the next turn (this is so people who make an illegal play can’t use knowledge of their next hand when redoing their turn).
Fair enough. This is my first PbF for this game, so I’ve no problems with him redoing/reassigning his turn, since I didn’t post the common keywords.
