Thoughts
No point attacking. Safe Attacking thins the deck, might save me some damage later. For now, I’ll float some gold, maybe level Rook and bring the Birds next turn. Grappling Hook should allow me a decent trade.
Leaving the Plexus around left the possibility for Rook to die if he threw a Nullcraft out. I lose a card (the Hook) but maintain board position, and hopefully the Birds can work in my favor. Putting the Birds in patrol might hold him off from the Nullcraft anyway. Hopefully Tech II next turn. Entangling Vines might be worthwile just to get Mox out of the way.

T1 playing grave would have been better, since he maxb more easily, has readiness and once he uses his rune prynn’s Origin S is not that threatening.
T2 instead of SA, much better a savior monk, to put pressure. also teching the boulder is bad, you are P1 and need to pressure him. I would have put Martial mastery+rambasa to make the cycle faster and see “the future”.

Against past, never spend too much on unit/heroes cuz OS and undo.
I’d go discipline so mind parry monk prevents shenaningans, then YLDs force him to play counters, where he has few.
