Also, I dont think Gilded Glaxx gets the boost from Battle Suits (him being a Mech Soldier, not a Soldier). I’ve never played that way at least. I looked up in the rules thread and couldnt find anything; do you have a link that says otherwise?

I guess lobbers give him easy haste anyway, and now the Fairie Dragon grants the flying.

I’m pretty solid on board position here, and with only 4 cards after the technician draw and nary a board position to speak of, I have him pretty well on the ropes. Grabbing a Garrison and another KotC, KotC + Research gives me backup cycling help

Solid RS Draw, unless he kills tech 1 AND Oni I have pretty solid plays no matter what.

@codexnewb it looks like a pretty unanimous conclusion that “Mech Soldiers” are BOTH “Mechs” AND “Soldiers”.

Missed that Hardened Mox is the same unit type, and I know for certain Mox is always played on these forums as getting Battle Suits bonus. Same with Knight of the Conclave, I’m quite certain I’ve seen him get the suits buff from @EricF in the current CAUS. Glaxx I don’t see as often, so I can’t say anecdotally for sure I’ve seen a game where battle suits affected him.

The point about “Cute Animals” and “Ninjas” supports the line of logic, though, as well as “Mechs” not being a significant unit type (just flavor).

If you’d rather wait until a mod weighs in, we can roll back to where I wouldn’t be able to kill Midori, otherwise back to you :wink:

Bleh, no Garrison even after Vir peek and technician. I could guarantee it with 2x KotC + TR + Vir peek after, but then I don’t have gold to Hoodie down the fliers. Eliminating the 8 damage on the board and tech 3 beats eliminating tech 2 and 3 and getting a Garrison that’ll just get destroyed anyway, I’ll take the extra board position advantage. If he lays a big tech 2, I’ll probably be able to Hoodie or Mox + Cadet it anyway, no biggie.

I am going to put KotC on the top of the deck for cycling though, and grab a backup Garrison.

Woof, battle suits eliminates a lot of firepower for me. Still though, progress keeps building, and this game is an eventuality. Even a T-Rex isn’t safe when I can hoodie it, especially if I grab unphase to snipe something backline (or just to stealth kill buildings with mox)
