TokH vs @FaceOnMars
3-2
GGs!
You snuck it under the wire! I was literally just sitting down to run the numbers for next weeks standings!

Hey, all!
So, weβre a few weeks into this experiment, and Iβm curious how you think itβs going? Is the Sunday-night due date the right date? Should I shift it to a Weds - Weds schedule? Have a longer period to play in? How does the match scheduling feel? Are you getting to play against a variety of opponents?
Iβm liking it so far! Not that Iβve made any progress, since the one time Iβve won I immediately lost to Niijima-san the next week. Speaking of which, this week marks the first time Iβve had a repeat opponent since Iβll be facing him again.
Sunday-Sunday works for me, and I think a week is probably best for this format (because of the dynamic tournament setup, itβs harder to get away with assigning a match every week while also having each match due two weeks from the assignment). So at least in my opinion, itβs fine as it is and we just need more players!
Yeah Iβm enjoying it but of course just wish we had more participants.
Yeah. Iβm hoping to pick it back up again myself soon. Maybe next week, if life cooperates.
So far Iβve only fought one opponent twice (4 matches) which is fine considering the βsmallβ pool of players. I think another part of this βalgorithmβ is because its a promotion match.
I think weekly match scheduling is the way to go, better to keep it fast paced. If you miss a week its not going to matter βtoo muchβ. I have no preference on Wednesday/Sunday.
I like the drop-in/drop-out of this. I was able to easily drop a week when I was busy. Players like @thehug0naut for example canβt commit to something like IYL.
Overall I think its going great!
Exactly right. For me right now this is the strongest trait of the system. I love that I can get to play some ranked Yomi in a low commitment pressure event.
Thanks for offering to run it @vengefulpickle
MR vs @ArthurWynne 3-1
That was a really close set!
All games went down to very few hps on both sides (always less than 10, and normally 3 vs 4!).
Tense and fun!
GGs Arthur!
I was pretty salty at the time - Robo-Satan remains my Kryptonite and screws up all my instincts, and being favored in the MU on paper doesnβt help - but in hindsight, yeah, those games were great!
Me vs Hobusu (round 2)
I win 3-0
Lum > DeGrey x 3
If I may offer a small bit of advice, you blocked too much. Even when I was wrong on combat I didnβt really care because I was still rolling the dice and drawing cards.
Yeah, I definitely blocked too much, but at the same time I kept getting awkward hands that didnβt have any damage cards in them. That combined with your psychic knowledge of when Iβd stop blocking made it hard to do much elseβ¦
Iβm really liking it.
The Sunday night due date seems fine. The one week round length is good - Iβm busy with Yomi, this is good. I have yet to repeat opponents, so no complaints there.
So far the overall impression I have is that this is a tight little group, but not so small as to be boring. And the drop in and out structure reduces so much of the pressure you normally get with being committed to a long tournament. But this is still a long form tournament, so all the good things, like rivalries and things to aim for, are still present.
This is all very positive.
FaceOnMars vs @snoc
Itβs an honor to have won against such a respectable player. I felt I played well but I was definitely helped out by some timely draws.
Iβm sure my completely impartial footage will show my opinion of the draws this set. Well played anyway.
Tokh is actually an βoldβ player since the old forums
