Reputable Newsman should do a lot to stop all the buffs he can bring out. on 2, it blocks everything but Arg, Circle of Life, and Rich Earth, and there isnt any tricky way to just delete it. Onimaru versus Quince is a bit trickier. Oni brings good offense to what is sure to be a defensive treant who was avoiding arrest, but quince brings even more bodies into play. Also, his deck is kinda weak on dealing with heroes, so oni seems good

Thoughts
So, I can midband Oni and build tech 1, or I can manufactured truth into a treant and maybe get building inspector/traffic director, but building inspector isnt as good on P2T2. If his treant had been in SQL maybe, but with Arg out I have to worry about dinosize or SotP, and also nimble fencer. Dinosize could get a dead Oni, which would suck, but it uses a ton of his gold.
OR, I could go for a balsy play and try lawful search into an elite training or arrest. If I miss, at least I will know what to expect next turn, and I can still midband Oni.
Ok, so one tech was tiny basilisk. he is unlikely to give me the opportunity to arrest it, not to mention it won’t be in my next hand unless I am balsy with Boot Camp, but that means he has to defend with other stuff, probably the young treant, because I am letting him accelerate by killing the wisp.
What I wouldn’t give for a judgment day. I’m not sure how I am going to recover here, I knew I was going to have to deal with a basilisk, but blegh.

Well, it wasn’t flawless: I didn’t have to lose that Basilisk to your Elite Training. But yeah, I figured this basic Green Deck would be a good testing ground for your mono-blue practice.
