My Thoughts

This is a creative move from him, but I do not expect it to work out nicely. I have so many ways to rip the Garg back away from him. Maxing out Vandy here gives him the doomed Gargoyle, so he likely goes for a retaliation kill, but that’s fine. I’ll still be way ahead on tech. Grabbing a shrine and a voidblocker, I don’t want to have something like a Dozer or Banefire or TerrasQ ripped from my hand straight to his board…


Yeah, I was worried that if I opened with Bigby, you’d realize what I was up to and tech something other than Gargoyles. I was hoping that you’d burn some resources to take out Grave and balance us out economy-wise, but seeing how your draws worked out, this was probably better for me.

I should have teched Seers last turn after all. Thought about it, but for some reason decided not to. Since this is an experimental game, I’m sure FrozenStorm wouldn’t mind a retcon, and I think we’d both rather see how it plays out that way, so I’ll edit my discard pile appropriately.
