A Zane play could leave me with a gimped Rook, but I don’t really mind. I might even skip Birds entirely, considering Witspur’s access to efficient answers. Thinking of Glaxx and maybe Crash Bomber instead.
Future doesn’t seem very fitting this time, but I’m still undecided between Blood and Strength. If Witspur starts very aggressive, I’ll go Strength for longterm value, but if I can get away with it, I’ll go for my own aggression with early Blood.
If witspur wants free lvls off of Rook with Zane, that’s an entire turn’s worth of gold and a waste of his maxband, so I don’t mind.
Sickness would be worse, but that just leaves mid Orpal, which Glaxx should be able to hold off. And if things get out of hand, I always have Snapback.

Thoughts
So yeah, the bad thing happened, but tbh Drakk+Bloodlust would’ve been worse. Whiffing both Glaxxes sucks, so I’m gonna bring in Vir to see if I can topdeck one of them, and if not, I’ll just instamax him.
I’m concerned Witspur will out-Blood me with an earlier tech 2 and Graveyard, so Strength seems the way to go.
…
Nice, got me a Glaxx. I’ll swap it with Snapback in case maxband Orpal happens.
Hmm, I didn’t consider GPT as a pseudo-answer to Glaxx. Anything I float to protect against StW or Orpal tricks is basically handing money to witspur. I’ll sink it into HH in case double Crashbarrows show up to break my tech 2.
I know I want to tech another spell, I’m debating between Birds as an answer to Gliders, or Kidnapping as an answer to Bugblatter. I might be leaning too much on Drakk, but I think Kidnapping is more likely to help me bounce back.

I guess I can count myself lucky that no Crashbarrow came through. I could flood the board or Snapback Drakk, but I think it makes more sense to tech up while I have the chance. Even if I whiff everything next turn, I could wall up behind the Mech and maxband Rook.
I can’t let maxband Drakk stick around stirring up trouble. But if I instamax my own Drakk, I’ll likely lose him before I can use any of his spells. So I think I have to Snapback instead.
Pity I don’t have any tech 0 to protect Mech from StW… I can only hope witspur doesn’t have it in hand.

Taxman and Orpal Break your Tech 3.
@witspur Your card count seems off. You drew with Zane after playing Summon Skeletons and Sacrifice the Weak, as well as trading Crypt Crawler, so all 3 of them should be in your deck after the reshuffle. As far as I can tell, you should only have 2 cards in your discard (well, 3 after I kill your Taxman).
You are correct. 2 tech cards are in the discard that should be in the deck ( or in hand). You will need to redraw your hand, as well as the card from Zane. You were at 3/0/10+2 tech, then cast 2 spells, then draw for 2/13/0, then discard draw 4/9/2
