CAWS 2016: PiHalbe (Mono Black) vs. Zejety ([Discipline]/Strength/Finesse)

Smashing Plague Lab does not deal 2dmg to base, right? Or does it? Somehow, I can’t seem to remember …

P1T9

Spreading love all over the board …

I hope I did not make a stupid mistake there. I really miss Orpal and Plague Lab now.

[details=Summary]I was really sad that Spreading Plague was not an option due to poor Orpal being gone. But maybe it’s better this way. He can either kill off his heroes or take damage to base. He can still cast spells, but I think I do not need to be afraid of them too much. Let’s see …

Anyways, I feel like I got my money’s worth from that little Pestering Haunt. Gotta love that fella![/details]

That’s right!

I only write stuff that’s relevant for my opponent’s turn.
Note that I don’t list sparkshot or readiness on Grave either.

Way to go! Stupid them, if they fail to notice that. guilty-as-charged,-me :unamused:

Seriously, that is very nice.

Also, notice how he is twice untargetable. Shame you couldn’t put him on Lookout. Sicher ist sicher.

If we are pedantic, he’s only twice untargetable to you. MPM does not affect me. :stuck_out_tongue:

Here we go … (I hope, I got my math right, but there’s room to adjust)

GG!

Not gonna check the math right now but I assume everything is correct.

This was a very enjoyable game to me and your win is well deserved. Your 5th turn was very heartbreaking though.

Great game. Tense see-saw struggle and build-up right to the grand finish in the end. Sometimes Metamorphosis or a rune-addled Nullcraft closes off the game around turn 5 or 6, and sometimes you get to see a game like this.

My thoughts exactly. It was nice having such a pure tempo game for a change.

@EricF Game is over

In Codex, unlike real life, Diease is really enjoyable.

Using my limited experience, I saw your beefy units and double-life Rook and thought that’s a job for persistent down-grading.

Actually, I have never used Plague Lord before. And I did not foresee that impact. You just had a ridiculous amount of runes on your heroes when I finally got him out.

That Mind-parry Monk is sure troubling for my usually spell-heavy black gameplay.

Thanks for the game!

I’ve only ever had around two of 5-6 turn games.

During RACE #3, I was crowned player with “the longest games”. Not sure what that means exactly, but I’ll take what I can get.

Yeah, this game had a lot of firsts for me too. First Plague Lab, Plague Lord and Hero’s Monument I’ve seen played.

I should have probably tried to suicide Rook earlier to get a fresh one.
