Mmmm yeah. Not sure if Rook in particular is the issue I am facing, or how I am piloting the deck or this particular matchup. :expressionless:

Metamorphosis is hard to pull off in general, but it could just be this particular matchup is problematic. Id be willing to try a different matchup. [Necro]/Blood/Truth is a deck I’ve been wanting to try.

Green easily has the WORST options for fighting a rook opener and probably a generally poorer matchup against black’s deteriorate and sac the weak than most other matchups?
Maybe I just need to be giving tiger cub more of a chance? 2/2 for 2 though really not my favorite plan, especially when I could be doing a panda instead. Maybe I value the wisp too highly early on?

The wisp’s problem is that it is too easy to kill. It soaks some damage, which can be helpful, but often I would rather discourage attacking altogether with a 2/2 than just prevent the damage from hitting something else. Also deteriorate, though that is mitigated by wrong color hero.
