@Jadiel I concede. I’m starting to think my codex choice is complete garbage. Either that or using Green starter is worthless (which seems to be the common consensus)
To be honest, I think you probably just need a bit more practice playing with starter decks and heroes. Look at some other games with players playing similar decks (@cstick and I have played a couple of casual games recently where he was using Feral with the green starter, and he’s been wiping the floor with me. Those games would be good to look at for hints how you can dominate with the green starter and Calamandra)
Looking at how @cstick runs it, I’m playing way too defensive, and not considering the value of higher attack over extra armour. In all but one game they workered the Ironbark Treant, and the one they played it in, it went into the Elite slot. Everything else in their play is informed from that.
I’m probably thinking too hard in terms of cross-tech synergy. Basically, the main synergies I see are Behind the Ferns and Hidden Ninja, since both of them give low attack units stealth, but I seem to be too focused on that gameplan to consider how that might not work or be necessary against Anarchy aggression.
