Still very soft, I’m going swarm and floating a bunch of gold (suspecting it won’t be Tax Collectors from him, more likely Brave Knight?)

He probably should have SQL with Quince (or at the very least Scav / Techn), this set up a pretty bad trade for him and I’ll be in the driver seat to tech up, go ham with Cala, or pretty much whatever next turn.

Why not patrol Prospector in SCAV? If he played Aven and MT (which is not an unreasonable line, I think), you lose out on 1g. I have no idea whether he had the cards (I haven’t looked at his hands), but I can’t see any reason why patrolling here is a liability…

Didn’t want to get arrested. That’s a 1-card “bad trade” for him but still not ideal for me as P2. I’m okay with risking the 2-card combo “bad trade” to avoid the 1-card one.

Fair enough - I think in that position if my opponent is spending 2g and a card to deny me 1g, I’m very happy with that outcome, but I can see why you might value the board presence more highly.

Ferocity wasn’t really a great tech, going to worker that. There’s certainly ways to get around the newsman (midband midori, stealth past it w/ Cala) but I’m opting for Spore Shambler. I’m okay to get tech 2 stuff in the deck and unlikely to draw both cards teched, so I’m going to grab Stampede and Blooming Ancient. Both compliment my swarm construction, but leave me different options for next turn. Most likely I’ll Max Arg + Tech up, but we’ll see how he plays this. I’m taking out his tech 1 to prevent tech 2 and also hopefully force a bunch of gold on expensive mirror blockers I can hopefully mow down pretty safely
