Thoughts

Everything is falling apart and I don’t know what to do! I’m losing tempo here. Maybe I can just lean on injunction and stealing away some units?

Man, after each of your turns I’m like “okay, looks like it’s time to concede…” But then I manage to come up with something crazy enough to stay afloat. Can’t keep that Tech II alive though.

Yeah, swings in Codex are INTENSE. Just wanna check with @zhavier before I take my turn - is there a good way to generate a forum post for when I skip my discard/draw phase due to Prynn’s maxband? Or do I need to do something manually?

Meanwhile I noticed that my Geiger didn’t do anything useful. I’d send him to attack your tower if you don’t mind.

I don’t mind. Still figuring out how to best generate a post that accounts for skipping my draw/discard. Might just have to manually make one. Bear with me.

Updated my turn with:

  • Geiger attacks Tower, deals 3 damage.
  • Is now 3/3

Might want to backtrack and check the hero limit since I destroyed your Tech 2 previously.

So, currently you would have to do it manually. Two manual methods come to mind.
One: copy your current hand, deck and discard to another part of the sheet, maybe below the buttons. Put some X’s in the deck area, then hit discard/draw. Put your hand, deck and discard back in place adding any tech cards to the discard and deleting any x’s. Then hit generate and you should get a good post, just delete the line about discarding and drawing from the post. Note the following turn your starting hand will be a couple x’s instead of your actual starting hand, but that’s not really a big deal.

Two: copy your deck down to somewhere else on the sheet. Copy your current hand to your deck. Fill a number of cells in your hand with x’s so that you discard a number of x’s and draw a number + 2 of cards that should be in your hand (2 cells with x’s, draw 4 cards). If you have less than 2 cards in hand, put some X’s in the deck area too. Click discard/draw and then copy your deck back from wherever you put it and delete any x’s. Lastly hit generate again. Again delete the line about discarding and drawing.

Both of these are pretty convoluted. I might make an area for special effects like Prynn and Shrine and just have them marked with a yes no box because they would be pretty easy to code if I had a clear indicator they were happening. But it’s probably not going to happen right away.

Thanks for the suggestions. Manual input shouldn’t be so bad. Just wanted to check if there were any shortcuts. @Random_Phobosis - going to stand by until you re-check the hero limit for Geiger and Vir on T9. Not sure how much that effects your turn, but take your time.

Aw-w-w, my bad.
Replaced Tower with Hero Hall, my base took 2 damage.

I don’t see where you summoned Vir to use his ability to peek or swap cards on T9, so it looked like you just have to not do that line and your turn will be good.
