He can break my tech 2 this turn by throwing away Garth and summoning zane, but he canât do that and build tech 2 (needs Deteriotate to do that, but he didnt have it this turn, so it seems definately like he will have it next)
Predition of his turn:
Deterioate Stewardess ($8)
Garth + zane into Glax
Twilight + Skele break tech 1
Tech 2 (Anarchy) ($4)
worker ($3)
Bonecollector/Taxman (depending on draws/techs, probs taxMan)

Tech 2 card(s)
Get Paid + scav - ($10)
Zane to max, shoves Fargo to lookout, deals 1dmg - ($3)
Zane kills Vir, we both draw
Bone Collector trades with Fargo, makes a Skeleton
Garth kills Prynn
Bone Collector - ($1)
Worker - ($0)
@Shadow_Night_Black
You seem very reluctant to play a hero early - any particular reason why? When youâre facing Vandy, I think youâre right to be cautious, but in this game I think you might have been better playing Geiger or Vir on turn 2 instead of plexus. Heroes are immune to deteriorate, and are difficult to displace in SQL. You lose a point of attack, but gain a go and donât need to go down on cards.
I find purpleâs heroâs very bad in the early game. Only Geiger has a good leveling curve, and none of them have good aggressive stats. Geigerâs spells come online after you start playing your tech 1 units, and are very useful there, but I rarely have the tech slots for them earlier than before T3/4. On the other hand, all three of petE heros either good combat heros with good stats/levels (Vandy/Zane), have very powerful mid/max band abilities (Garth/Vandy/Zane), so feeding them levels is really bad. Given I find that purple struggles in the early game, but makes up for it in the tech 2 stage, and is filled with some of the best draw/card advantage in the game (Hyperions, Temporal Distortion, Temporal Research, Research and Development, Virâs midband) and that so many of their cards stick around and provide value/thin the deck (Mox, battlesuits, Nullcraft, Plasmodium, Voidstars, Hives, Immortals, Remembers) that an early hero is far more likely to hurt me in the long run then help.
Also against black starter with zane, I doubt I could protect them, I generally need most of cards to protect tech 1, let alone a hero as well.

I still think you would have been better playing Geiger on T2. There was no way he could kill him in SQL, and you would have had an unkillable 2/3 without spending a card, instead of a 3/2 which cost a card and he killed at the cost of a 0-cost spell.
Geiger still heals whenever he levels which gives you a lot of option on the offence, and makes your opponent play around them, makes suiciding heros (such as Zane!) a lot more costly, and Geigerâs maxband is pretty good, especially with Nullcraft on the table.
But, the game has different play styles, and maybe you just donât like early purple heroesâŚ
