i think the flagbearer prevents you from buffing yourself with arg midband because it can target the flagbearer. that’s what he’s there for, counters all of arg’s spells except stampede. however you do have a forest’s favor spell that can only target allies.

really scared they’re going to maxband cal and murder rook, but cal should only have 2 health after. floating one gold so i have 7 next turn for speed of the fox combo to avenge rook. also holy crap i really lucked out with not drawing rambasa this turn, now i can just play them after this turn and be in a really good spot.
