[details=Thoughts][spoiler]Well this turned out radically different than I planned. I always wanted to build Tech II (Fire), so that was 4 gold allocated. I was planning on workering Pillage, but he must have thought I already have! This is a really nice turn to Pillage because I can use the extra gold very efficiently to get a max Drakk and build tech II. It does leave me with a quandary as to what to worker. I can see Scorch being a decent spell after I get hotter fire online, Charge is always awesome, so honestly Im thinking of workering the second Firebat. 3/3 for 2 is nice but we’re getting firebirds as the end-game (and maybe a dragon?!). I’m not sure what his response will be, he has access to Zane and could conceivably kill Drakk, but I think he’ll want to build Tech II himself. With Graves dead it will have to be Calamandra and a unti, I’d imagine?
After drawing: Boy I’m a lucksack. I was almost going to hire the Firebat and float 2 gold to use Drakk’s max-band, but decided I should be disciplined and stick with tech II and the reward is great - Molting Firebird in my next hand![/spoiler][/details]
