Second Chances can’t come out with your tech 2 down though…
Sorry for the delay. I’ve gotten somewhat bogged down, but hopefully I’ll be able to focus on the game again from tomorrow afternoon.
No sweat dude, life happens!
The busy part’s over, but I’m still feeling somewhat worn out, and I figure it’s better to rest up a bit lest the quality of my posts suffer.
Fixed. Thanks for your patience.
Not at all a problem my dude, you’re welcome! Beauty of these forum games, we can leave it for a month and come back to the table just as it was

My Thoughts
Well no sense in leaving anything alive to attack invisibly, kill it all and… tech up? That seems the way to best diversify my operation, so it isn’t vulnerable to a single Free Speech or Origin Story. So yea, Jade Fox it is
Two can play at this game.

My Thoughts
Break it all down! Nice Shuriken Hail draw for the extra 2 base damage, but it’s all good
uh, in ur starting hand i only see 5 cards, and u started with 4+2sets makes 6. What is the missing card?
Forgot to copy in, fixed now my bad
It looks pretty bad, but I’m trying to decide if there’s something I can still do.
Well, I do intend to continue at some point, but honestly I’ve become preoccupied with some testing I help with (as it’s time-sensitive, with upcoming releases), and I probably won’t feel like I have the mental energy to spare for high-level Codex play for another few months. If you’d rather just call the most recent game your win and start fresh when I’m ready to focus on Codex again, that’s perfectly understandable, and I’d be okay with it.
No, no worries! I’m happy to keep the game-state as is, just nearly overwrote the spreadsheet when I started a new game yesterday and wanted to check and see how bad that would have been
Is that testing as in software testing? What kinda stuff you use?
I enjoy testing (when I understand the tool well ^_^)
Well… yes and no. I am participating and/or have participated in pre-release testing for game software, non-game software, and non-software games, both of my own creation and otherwise. As for tools, I’ve used a variety including mantis, trello, in-game reporting tools, and email. I also enjoy testing; the experience of seeing products improve in response to my feedback is very satisfying.
For me, writing tests for my software is all about having external verification that my code does what I think it should, which gives me confidence users will be able to accomplish things with it. That sounds like a different but also awesome kind of testing!
Cool to hear about what other people do when they aren’t shuffling Codex decks, hope all is well!
I think I might have had a slim chance for a comeback if not for those hasty units in hand, but I’ll resign it here. I’ll try [Balance]/Past/Finesse next, so start us off whenever you’re ready.
