Looking at your Hand, why didn’t you try Maxband Prynn for 8 and 2g for Fading Argonaut, Prynn drops two runes to hide my Gunship? Fading Argonaut could protect Prynn from my haste, depending on what I had in hand? I guess if I had the other Gunship it wouldn’t have mattered. Also, Ebbflow isn’t a good answer to Pirate Gunship, so i was surprised you broke the tower in favor of tech labs.

Care to reverse colors, or play other colors?

I didn’t try that because while I’m not technically dead, it doesn’t take much for you to finish me off. Another gunboat would do it, but so does just about any hasted unit, since you can maxband Zane and then kill Prynn to get your first gunboat back.

Archon is indeed a bad answer to gunboat, but it was basically my only play. If you had the gunboat there I lost the game, but if you didn’t have it, you’d likely put up a bunch of blockers. From there I was hoping to bounce them with archon and destroy your T3.

You can change colors if you want, but I’d like to try purple a little more. I’ve made some pretty silly mistakes a few of these games, so I can’t change in good conscience. :slight_smile:

What I wondered is why, on turn 6, you didn’t maxband prynn->trash taxman->FF Lobber->Nullcraft + Argo break T3. Then with Hyperion + Tricycloid coming up next turn, you would have had a good shot at keeping him off Tech 3 and winning.

Not going to lie - I didn’t see that play. When I looked at it I forgot about the nullcraft (since I hadn’t patrolled it). I think that would have been a lot better than what I did.
