Thoughts
would have been nice to have had rampant growth this turn, seems ballsy to put grave up there like that with a 50% chance of me getting what I need to kill him… I could go for spore shambler onto prospector then trade him to kill grave, but then that leaves me with just the shambler on defense. I don’t know what tricks he has but it seems like with advice, grappling hook and the sensei in play he has a great chance of being able to kill rook. so I can either go Yolo kill grave and sacrifice my prospector or play treant and hope I get rampant growth or one of my techs… hrmm. well treant draw was shit but at least I am guaranteed to have a solid draw next turn.
…I’m not seeing anything that he paid the wrong amount for. His tech 1 building cost 1, and that’s what he paid. All his units check out too, unless I’m missing something.
I feel pretty safe here, the plague Spitter is a mean threat for grave and the birds are also scary. next turn I go t2… felt like I didn’t want to let him get tempo by going t2 this turn and not wiping out both rambasas. I put a bird in look out so that he can’t shove a patroller there.

so many options… towers are great. most plays I’m seeing here require me to invest in rook, which just seems like a bad idea with snapback being a thing, I don’t want him to be TOO juicy a target. I give it a decent chance he kills rook next turn. at least this way I keep a bird and my plague Spitter

well vandy is always scary so this should be fun. Would have been nice to draw sensei’s advice turn 2. I really want to play with Setsuki but going second I feel like I need Rook. Hopefully he doesnt deteriorate the Fox Viper and I can get a good play in with her sparkshot and grappling hook next turn.
not sure if best play would have been lookout or technician for the Fox Viper… oh well, it feels like I’m going to have a really managable hand and deck. I think I’ll tech in some ninja shit for Setsuki. If I can survive with Rook this next turn I’ll be able to drop Rambasa Twins and Birds.
