I’m just curious why you didn’t play Merfolk Prospector instead of floating the $1? Would’ve made it harder to Pillage you and given you a body for defense.
[details=for Hobusu]Yeah it was probably a mistake. I was concerned that if he had pillage, Zane + Pillage would mess the opening up and put me down on cards, whereas this way I have a 50% chance of him not having pillage and being fine. It was possibly too conservative of me.
edit: it now occurs to me that I wouldn’t have had gold to pillage at all! Good point. Oh well. [Thanks for pointing it out![/details]

Hi @lou - I’m sorry about the delay. I’ve been traveling extensively and in combination with a lot of work and moving, I have not been able to get to Codex. In the past, I was able to play when traveling but this time around I’ve been really busy and can’t find the headspace to make a move. I just landed last night and I’m flying again today… so hopefully I can get back into the game soon but it might have to wait until September 5th.
don’t worry about it friend! I’m in absolutely no rush myself getting back into the game should be pretty easy once I reread the turns.
I’m sorry - I hate dropping games but after a while being busy at work, I didn’t really get back to Codex. Not sure why, but kind of fell out of the obsession. It’s a little hard to get back into it though I’m sure it’ll return at some point - I do love the game.
