One comment I’ll make is that sticking with the same matchup helps to learn more about that matchup, whereas playing as and/or against other colors helps you learn more about the game overall. Neither is inherently better, but it’s something new players should keep in mind.

Thanks @Hobusu - I’ll be playing other match-up with the actual cards, and though I like forum play it’s a bit challenging to have to look up cards all the time and so I feel like it’ll be a good introduction and way to get better by focusing, for a start, on one match-up.

During your upkeep, the game basically has a step where it says ‘All upkeep abilities (including Fading) trigger now’. This adds all those abilities to the queue. As the active player, you can choose what order to resolve them in. If Rememberer’s upkeep ability brings another Fading unit back from the discard pile, it doesn’t Fade, because it wasn’t in play when the game triggered upkeep abilities.

Is this a ruling you’ve seen somewhere or is this your interpretation?
