Can’t compete with that draw cycle, you teched well to have everything you needed! That anti-air on Elite training was the real killer. In hindsight I guess I should have killed tech 2 with my hasty stuff last turn and not Quince, though you really should have patrolled Inspector last turn and then I would have been without much options. I didn’t have a good way to sparkshot anyway, so patrolling him would not have been an issue. Surprised that we managed to get P1 a win in both games!
Yeah originally I was hoping to make a patrol that would make it so you couldnt kill Geiger, which would have prevented you from getting Vir out for assimilate but I should have realized that was going to be extraoridinarlly unlikely

Lucky… I don’t have enough money right now to get a Switch, and while I could get it for my Wii U, it feels wrong when I know I’ll be getting the Switch at some point this year. Maybe I ought to bite the bullet and get the Wii U version, then sell it to a friend to pay for the Switch version later?
That’s what makes it so hard – I know I’ll love it no matter which version I get, but the potential for portable play seems so essential to getting anywhere in such a huge game!
@Hobusu Got it for the WiiU knowing that without Zelda, I could probably wait until Mario Odsessy to think about getting the Switch. Plus, gotta get some more value out of that WiiU. Besides Smash Bros, Splatoon, and the handful of virtual console games I have, gotta get some more mileage outta that guy
The first big one for me other than Zelda will be Splatoon 2, so I’m probably going to wait until around the time that launches to get it… But I can’t decide whether I should just wait until then for Zelda as well or go ahead and get the Wii U version. Considering that the Splatoon 2 Global Testfire is at the end of this month, they might be releasing the game in just a couple months, but even that’s a pretty long time to try avoiding Zelda spoilers.

Did we have this much trouble with purple early game in other match ups? It seems like you have had a tough time getting anything started in these match ups, and Peace machine doesnt normally seems like its that easy to get strated?
It’s been too long for me to remember, but yea I definitely feel pinched as P1 and P2. Newsman + Inspector + Tower makes for really tough trades for me, feels hard to recover from. Assimilate isn’t enough of a deterrent for you, as you can get plenty of value out of Garrison same turn you play it. I thought about playing for Slow-Time Generator, but yea again by the time I can bring that online and invest in it you’ve already got an avalanche rolling. Hyperions don’t really feel affordable enough to do the damage, but that’s about all I haven’t tried now.
