Ok, then I would drop OCs and Tiger before ferocity. No changes to patrol. Other units have ferocity except BK. Also assuming you rebuilt Tech II last turn.

My Thoughts

Man this is taking forever to get going… I think I want to kill river (to avoid discord or two step, yikes) and definitely want to kill backline tiger (hurray tower). We’ll have to see if I can pull OC or Seer or maybe Boot Camp to help my draws. Teching the other BC and Seer.

Ooof, just about the worst draws I could manage… Would have loved to be sitting on the other Garrison… Oh well, them’s the breaks, I’ll lose the Garrison almost certainly but hopefully should be able to recover. DS buffs on Nullcraft should help me wrap this up, though huntress is a pain for that plan.

Draw 1 from killing Tiger is just left over from edits before I assume? Also Garrison costs 3 but you paid 3 for Nullcraft, so I’m guessing that’s a typo.

Early OS was unexpected and tech ii bluff was a very nice move. Luckily I had some answers in my deck. I think this matchup is pretty balanced. I’d still say P1 is advantaged since I heavily favor P1 but Blue vs Purple should weigh on Blue so that this matchup is roughly fair. Just my thoughts. Thanks for the game. Good luck on your R6!

why didn’t you put in sql a unit that would benefit from ferocity instead of river? that’s something i didn’t understand.

Because I needed to switch to Oni. I had Oni spells in my deck and also needed max Oni as an option :wink:

GG WP! I got too cute with the origin story and perhaps should have gotten peace engine rolling instead, I figured it would goad you into over extending but you maintained discipline well.

BI + Aven is truly rough to deal with and whiffing stewardess exacerbated that. Also Cala midband hurts Stewardess as a counter to that early pressure.

I thought for sure it was doom to skip that t1 worker but somehow you made it work out. Still don’t think it was a good idea but definitely was more oppressive than I gave credit and was fun to see it actually work!

True, except I needed Cala around pretty bad for lots of things, so if River didn’t die I had to sac her in my turn, hence the SQL. Keeping the units alive was the main priority to me.

Thanks, I don’t have a good track record of herding the tigers, so this was a big accomplishment. I feel like every game with you is a highlight in my Codex training and burns out the full brain power. I see myself improving after each fight and really appreciate you sparring with me.

As a serial worker skipper, I value the board dominance it can offer. Although I’d certainly not want to skip a worker out of the gate, but the starting hand lacking a worker candidate really pushed me hard to the boundaries that I couldn’t resist.

The old bansa used to be all or nothing in pretty much most of his games and prolly would have been over-extended and ran out of steam before the finish line. I’m learning to adopt to the mainstream and find a balance in my plays so that I can be more versatile and respond to situations more fluidly.
