Yea, I didn’t think arg was part of your strategy. If you hadnt pulled out Arg and floated even more gold, or maybe got out Vandy, I’m not sure there would have been much I could do to get past the boulder to the back line.

Well, not and get my tech 3 up.

There’s always Prynn Maxband :wink: That’s what I was trying to guard against actually, though it only would have let Mox through. I might have been able to lockdown a tech 3 with Vandy, but yea just having a couple of big bodies early game isn’t a huge issue for Zane and Prynn.

I’m going to be out of town this weekend, but I’d give P1 another shot later next week, otherwise I think I’ve satisfactorily answered that I’ve still got a lot to work on with this deck!

Thoughts

Hmm, if I had stuck with Monkey or even marauder, I could have had a much stronger play here, the extra 1 attack over monkey isn’t worth it here. If I put out my tech 3, I put out Fargo and face down however many runes and 4 attackers, enough to overwhelm and destroy my tech 3 possibly, and maybe more. If I grab Prynn, I can bounce BA, kill Arg or Wisp and get gold or money. If I use chameleon i can just kill BA but lose Zane. Here is hoping I don’t draw both gunships next turn. skipping worker to protect zane from haunt. Worst case, he attacks with Wisp after summoning another BA. Wishing I had some seers, for more Prynn shenanigans. There is a very mild chance that prynn dies to fading, but it seems unlikely. has to survive both next turn and the turn after.

And I continue to suffer for my chameleon Lizzo choice. I can leave him with 3 attackers and build my tech 3, but that leaves a single defender in the form of Oni. Alternately, I get Oni, chameleon, and Tinkerer and actually have something to do next turn. Do I kill Vandy, Rook or the Wisp. Rook is the only one I get Lizzo back. Vandy makes the really annoying black spells cost 1 more, which is something, I suppose. Given his gold shortage, that might actually be worth it. Additionally, it takes 1 unit buff and several annoying spells off the table. The problem with rook is he can walk past my patrol if I am not careful, but that is where the gold shortage comes in.
