Thoughts

I am literally one gold short of lethal.
Grave 1->3 (2), kill Cadet, Grave 3-7 (4), throw sword at Newsman (1), Reversal Air Hammer (3), Rook 3->5 (2) would be 17 damage to base at the cost of 12 gold.

So, instead I’ll just setup an Earthquake play and I’m quite sure he can’t answer my board (also, Judgement Day doesn’t work against Jade Fox) and the Earthquake threat without a Garrison.

Ah I missed that you attacked with Spectral Hound. But Grave has 3 HP and 1 armor, so he would survive that? Unless of course you let the Traffic Director attack Grave instead of the School?

I had assumed that the X next to him meant he had damage. If not, then, yes, I would have had the Traffic Director suicide into him.

He had damage, but he is a 3/4 at lvl 3, so after 1 damage he is a 3/3.

GG! I thought this one was very interesting because usually Garrison never gets running at all or completely wrecks everything - in this game there was actually still a lot of back and forth after the first Garrison hit the table.

I think White is a quite interesting color, definitely looking forward to learning a few more nuances about it.
I only rolled a 9 for the next game, so you’ll probably go first?

Yeah. Garrison + Drill Sergeants is normally a giant steamroller so it is pretty cool when there’s capable resistance! I rolled a 72 for the next one so you’re right.

Thoughts

I considered killing the Porkhand Magistrate, but there are some ugly combos with Manufactured Truth that threaten Grave. So if he wants to kill Grave he will have to trade in the Porkhand Magistrate anyway so there’s no sense in giving him the Technican draw.

I wonder whether Fox Viper or Smoker would have been preferable to Safe Attacking, but since I’m aiming for Setsuki immediately when Tech II hits, I will have to survive on Tech I units a bit longer, so Safe Attacking seems very important.
