Thoughts

I don’t see a way to force keeping a hero on the board if you have an Arrest, but if you Arrest you don’t have enough gold left over to make Onimaru a 4/4, so I can at least make you trade heros. And if you don’t, I can burn my hand to kill Oni on my turn. Is that actually a good play? We’ll find out.

Thoughts

Gank a hero w/o going down on gold or cards, woot! Debating taking Nature Reclaims pre-emptively, in case you hung onto Jail, or are teching any of those obnoxious buildings. Opening with Bigby and not Quince makes me think you’re more likely to have Community Service / Injunction than Free Speech; Murkwood Allies beats both of those (and Jail) plus it sets me up for a Stampede. Polymorph can deal with your Brave Knight or anything else, too. Gonna be sad if you’ve been running Free Speech though.

No idea what spec I should take. Maybe delay until you pick yours?

(edit: wrong turn number? oh, and I’m player 2 as well. And I forgot to increment my worker count at the end of turn 2, should have 7. One moment…)

edit: I’m player 2, started with 5 workers, made one every turn; I should have 1 more gold than previously noted and one more worker. (now 1g and 9 workers.) I failed to collect a gold last turn that I should have (made my 7th worker on turn 2, but only collected 6g on turn 3) but I don’t want to rewind that far for a single gold. Now I’m thinking that I maybe should have tried harder to make Tech II happen this turn…

Quick version: get 9g from workers + 2g from Galina. My wounded units / heros all heal 1.

Make a worker, play no other cards. (will be discarding 3, drawing deck + 1 from 5 discards.)

Play Calamandra and midband her for 4g.
Build Tech II - Growth for 4g. (2g remains).

All of my able units / heros attack, destroying everything except your base and tech I. Calamandra maxes from free levels, get 1g from panda. Float 3g, discard 3, draw 5.

Thoughts

Drafting more spells against Free Speech, yeah, I know, but the only thing that can potentially stop me at this point is Judgment Day, Feral Strike will save me if I draw it.

Welp, I didn’t. If you Judgment Day this turn + Free Speech next turn I’m going to just have to beat you down with heros Midori and Calamandra.

Just realized if I’d taken 2x Guargum I’d be guaranteed to get one the turn after next, when I’ll have a Tech III.

Bigby comment was just that I’d committed all of my units to the field; Judgment Day would have seriously slowed me down, though you might have needed it last time you had Bigby up for it to matter, think I had just gone down cards to drop all my units then? I was also worried about Injunction and Jurisdiction (for that or Free Speech), and I was playing the entire game around you potentially having Community Service.
