It turns out I really hate Onimaru. I hate his little soldiers, I hate how at level 1 he kills every hero except Rook, I hate how his ultimate spell lets him kill anything and still leave a 6-attack wall of Swift Striking steel between you and preventing him from doing it again next turn. That hasn’t actually happened to me in game yet, but I’ve lost from trying to play around it and he is now “disband on sight.”

There are easier ways to do this, but I’m also tired of losing games without playing a single T2 card.

Makeshift Rambaster attacks Onimaru, destroying his armor with 1 damage. Makeshift Rambaster dies. (3 discards)
Bloodrage Ogre attacks and kills :chibionimaru: Onimaru, destroying his body with 3 damage. They both die, especially :chibionimaru: Onimaru. (4 discards)

1g plus the two free levels from killing Onimaru takes Jaina to level 4, midband. She heals. (6g)

:exhaust: :chibijaina: Jaina to use her midband ability to deal 1 damage to Jail. I should have destroyed Jail last turn. You probably didn’t even draw any T1 units.

Begin construction of :fire: Tech II - Fire for 4g. (2g)

Pay 2g to put 2 more levels on Jaina, because you probably teched more Tax Collectors. (0g)

I’m curious about your reasoning for speccing into Truth, when Fire + Jaina herself have so many spells and abilities that target units.

Ultimately it’s because I like Truth and I want to figure out how it works best so I just keep playing it regardless of basically anything so I have the experience of seeing where it works and where it doesn’t. Also, I’m very bad at Codex and most other games.
