Well, I don’t feel bad about where we are, but it is a bit behind on really every possible front. I guess we’ll see if we can disrupt draws sufficiently. That’s an easy one to answer! I didn’t see the possibility at all. I also didn’t think of myself as behind on techs so that probably just means I don’t actually know what you mean by that. :sweat_smile:

By behind on techs I mean serveral differnt things here:
a) I built my tech 2 serveral turns agao, so I probably have more tech 2 cards ready throughout my deck /hand as there have been a few reshuffle since then, and many tech phases. Having just built your tech 2, you may not have the same density.
b) I have a solid board presence advantage, mainly due to i) Ive been putting my cards into a board position, rather than delaying my opponent, and b) the units Ive been playing have been greater impact ( mostly because yours have almost all been tech 0) so my board is a tech above yours).

Hmmmmm, that gives me a fair amount to ponder. I don’t think I’ve been and to understand the third point in anything but abstract terms so I’ve never really succeeded at melding that understanding with my decisions in the game. :sweat_smile:

We’ll put out the goods, babycakes! I expect Porkhand to be bounced via Stewardess or Forgotten Fighter. Given that Shadow hates Forgotten Fighter, I expected Stewardess. That’s fine by me, since it repairs my hand. I think we’ll go for Peace + Truth via tech lab or vice versa. That said, Shadow can choose to bounce the Mirror Illusion or Spectral Aven and those are both worse for me to loose since they won’t repair my hand. We’ll have to see how they play it.

Okay, we can temporarily prevent Stewardess action by getting rid of Shadow’s Tech I and that means we can keep applying pressure. I may have made some bad choices here what with decimating my hand, but them’s the breaks. If nothing else, Porkhand can help me replenish my own hand and that could be very worthwhile. I’m hoping that with the two draws I gave Shadow, they will have acquired all of their tech I units as dead draws. FINGERS CROSSED. I suppose Undo/Rewind could be pretty unpleasant here, though costly. I’m gonna pick up Mind Control and see if I can’t snatch up the Argonaut or maybe even something more fearsome.
