Okay, I’ll open up aggressively. I think I’ll have to avoid illusions because Grappling Hook makes me BLEED. If he opened up with Primus is that because he didn’t have an Aged Sensei? I think so. Blue doesn’t have haste for the most part so there’s no way he could have lost it. I think that likely means he will have the Aged Sensei in his coming hand. Outside of that, it’s too early to tell what he will have. I should probably commit to either Law or Peace. I would really like to see Law work but I don’t know if I can get it to stick. Let’s try it!

I decided to go with Boot Camp over Free Speech since Onimaru is still around. He’s put up Safe Attacking which is a pain in the buns for me since I can’t do anything about it. This is going to mean that his Tech 0 and Tech 1 units are just way better so I need to be able to outlast them. Judgement Day may be a god solution. Otherwise, meaty bodies like Tax Collector could be pretty worthwhile. For the moment, if he attacks with Fox Primus, he will lose her, even if he uses Grappling Hook.

Okay, we’ve lost Onimaru so Boot Camp can probably just be workered. I can clear out a lot of his board but I think that still favors him because Bone Collector is still a pretty good unit. Got it! Maybe a bit early, actually… still, it means I can break the Jail without discarding half my hand. And I’ll play Rambasa even though it means skipping a worker, since my draw engine is working pretty well and my tech 2’s aren’t very expensive anyway.
