I can’t get a lot of immediate value out of Bugblatter, because the stupid Brave Knight doesn’t actually die. I guess I could just flood the board with Bugblatter in the backline, and tech Glider to snipe Garrison and Stampede, well, just because.

Or maybe, since I drew Recruiter, I’ll play him for now and stash Bugblatter for next turn? If flagrantangles plays a hero to get free lvls off Bigby, that’s less gold for Garrison and the Peace engine, right?

Thoughts

Should I try to dig for War Drums with Scribe (and Treant)? If I don’t get it, I’ll probably just want to pop Aven with the Shambler, so maybe I’ll play Shambler first so that it gets haste.

No War Drums, but Tax Collector could be nice if I can get at Bigby first. I’ll end up with 3 units on board, which together with Playful Panda next turn should be a pretty good set-up for War Drums.

Thoughts

Not a bad stall by flagrantangles. I can commit to War Drums, clear the patrol with my current board (since the units in my hand don’t benefit from haste) and break tech 2. Or I can pivot and tech up, counting on Blooming Ancient to pop illusions.
I’m quite likely to regret it, but I’ll stick to my guns. I mean Drums.
