It took some finagling, but I did manage to destroy your base. I didn’t manage my deck super well and I had a hand full of spells so my garrisons weren’t doing much for me this round. That was a super good game! I often forget the sudden devastation of birds + Earthquake. That said, my Brick Thief was doing a lot of work healing my base.

It was cheeky of me not teching any tech 1 units, and I paid for it. I was so sure Void Star would survive, you really caught me off-guard with those Jaina spells. I’d give her MVP if it wasn’t for Brick Thief…
If you want to keep going, I think I’ll shuffle specs a bit and go for [Finesse]/Strength/Demonology.

Oh yeah. I’ve underestimated Jaina spells in my past and then I just started to click that they are good, but maybe a little contextual. I lean heavily on Flame Arrow as a Hero-killer. I want to like Ember Sparks, but that one always ends up in my hand and just doesn’t have the impact I need so I rarely tech it. If I can get away with it, I also like to Bloom Brick Thief and then he can destroy add-on building all on his own!
I didn’t notice that you didn’t have Tech I units until way too late. I wasn’t super surprised to see a Void Star come out but man am I lucky that I ended up with Flame Arrow in hand the turn it appeared. I’m cool with continuing. I’ll keep playing the Demolitions Crew for now.

Black starter shouldn’t be able to get through a hero in SQL right now. But which hero? Birds can be stopped with Skeletal Archery, so Rook can wait. I do know I’ll want Discord to deal with weenies, so why not get it straight away?
The only tech 1 units I have which can stand up to BCs are Twilight Baron and Boulder, and I’m not too keen on either. I’ll opt for Boulder to stall until tech 2, and see if maybe Mythmaking makes sense down the road.
