Oops, didn’t think about Orpal cramping my Mox’s style… the least I can do (and sadly also the most) is play Battlesuits and build a tower, and thus force codexnewb to invest some gold into getting a safe kill.
I’m teching Stewardesses even though I’m unlikely to play them next turn due to being short on cash. Hopefully I’ll draw one of Fargo/Plexus to play while teching up.

I didn’t even notice that codexnewb delayed his tech 1, that should’ve tipped me off about a potential Shadowblade. Even worse than losing my tech 1 is discarding Temporal Research, which leaves me with almost no options for this turn…
I’ll patrol midband Geiger to slow down codexnewb’s agression, and maybe I’ll get to use Now! or his mid/maxband next turn.
I also need to keep an eye out for Meta, though I don’t think codexnewb should be drawing into it quite yet, even with a Dark Pact. Nevertheless I should probably tech Origin Story and/or build a tower over the next couple of turns.
