Thoughts

I think I’ve got this locked up pretty tight. Something like double Hallucination would be a nuisance, but Orpal should survive to wreak havoc.

I’m gonna call this now. I’m sitting on a dead hand with 2 Necro spells and 2 Void Stars. Couldn’t get my Tech Lab built, so even if you hadn’t broken Tech 2, I couldn’t play them.

It’s an interesting combo I’m trying, but it may not be feasible in a real game setting. At least not against a spec that can easily wipe out tokens with single cards.

Thanks for the games. I like playing real competition. It makes me better. I’ll be gone for a few days but maybe we can play again in the future.

Apart from playing, I find that looking back at your own games is also a good way to get better. Some people on this forum are much better than me at that, but here’s one thing I can point out: on your last turn, playing Bone Collector and a Garth skeleton would’ve been strictly better than Summon Skeletons. In general, cards from higher techs almost always represent better value (and tbh Summon Skeletons is lacklustre to begin with).

Yeah, I wanted to play Bone Collector, but looking at your board I needed number of blockers more than quality. Regardless of what I played, tech 2 was likely to go down so I just went for bodies on the field.
