Casual: DiscoCokkroach (Law/Peace/Truth) vs FrozenStorm (Balance/Feral/Growth)

Nope. Against Blue (which does not have any haste, but DOES have Arrest, which only works on patrollers) it is wise to avoid patrolling against an empty board  Unless youā€™re going to judgement day me again, in which case I guess Iā€™d get patrol bonuses, but Iā€™ll take that gamble

THE TERMINATOR STRIKES BACK! Ugh this is getting to be a pretty boring board stallā€¦ Luckily I can stay patient, Iā€™m still dominating control of the board and Cala can kill that tech 3 over and over while I spend gold on Tech 3, Surplus and Midori if necessary. Heā€™d have to raze his Surplus to get detection, in which case Iā€™ll be fine.
[/details]

Yo, I totally forgot to rebuild my Tech III, but you attacked it as if I did, anyway, so thank you!

Yeah, so few cases in which itā€™s actually optimal NOT to rebuild it, I usually assume people did even if they donā€™t mention it

Okay, grabbing some card advantage back, going to mess him up with Feral Strike Moss Ancients next turn unless he goes for Arrest + Suiciding Bigby, in which case Midori will join the party maxbanded to wreck the house. Censorship council doesnā€™t bother me much, I only need do this discard for Cala trick once more and then the Dinosize will end the game if it canā€™t get done by alternative means

[details=Summary][spoiler]So some dude wearing goggles and purple & green armor blasted through the wall with a bundle of dynamite, then two sharks came out of nowhere, and before I knew it, Flagstone was burned to ashes.

Joking aside, I knew I the goose was cooked.[/spoiler][/details]

I literally laughed out loud at this, very clever!

GG WP, the Judgement day stall almost looked like it was going to work! (It would have, if I had given in to the temptation to worker Forestā€™s Favor earlier in the game).

Yeah, this was a really good game! I should have techā€™d some combat units or something; turtling for Tech III by itself just wasnā€™t enough. I think I learned a lot, though, and Iā€™ll probably start experimenting with multi-color stuff. Thank you for a great first game of 3v3 Codex!

Thank you! It was very interesting, unlike games I have played in the past.

Happy to play more with you anytime, just let me know!

Strategy-wise, I do think a Justice Juggernaut could have done you more favors than Censorship Council, especially since it can survive a Judgement Day with its two lives. But Law usually wants to win at Tech 3, and I think if youā€™d built a tower sooner (turn 9 or so) it would have worked too!

Yeah, I was definitely kicking myself over not building a tower. I was not fully aware of your options and Calaā€™s easy access to stealth. I also thought that Midori might make an appearance and just fly over everything and/or kill Lawbringer Gryphon if I ever got him out.

Very well played by you, by the way. Mono-green can just eat you alive if youā€™re not careful, and you definitely kept me in check the entire time.

In hindsight I should probably have abandoned the ā€œwin at feral tech 2 + murkwood chump blockā€ plan as soon as the first Judgement day was played, and gone straight to tech 3 right there. I gambled a lot of gold and cards on you not re-drawing Judgement Day and you clearly must have teched 2 of them, and did very well for yourself with that game plan for quite a while there!

IMO you should have teched Free Speech. Your stuff kept getting killed by stealthy Calamandra, while Feral Strike and other nonsense was also happening. A well-timed Free Speech could have given you the window you needed to play the Griffon.

Yeah, I did end up teching Free Speech when I saw that happening, but by that time, it was too late. I learned a very valuable lesson, though: Donā€™t sleep on stealth!
