My Thoughts
Unfortunately twins don’t make much sense against midband Vandy + Monk, as I’d love to be able to stick just one in Elite so she can’t trade against it. So I think the thing that makes the most sense is to just trade Grave into the monk and Max out vandy myself (has the added benefit of no doom), then plan to strike back next turn. SotP would give me real terror on Mario + Safe Attacking, and I have SP to help buff stuff also, so I think I will plan for that next turn. Arg also gives me an AA option so I can safely worker Primus in case of Gargs

well, that leaves meta as a decent option. although, i shouldnt count on it since SOTP will make rambasa a real threat.
ill tech meta and PB in case i need to tech up as a baclup. i can go HH or tech 2 next turn.

That’s a bit of a bummer but fine, we can lose Luigi and SP to the Tiny Bs. Next turn probably Max Arg + Tech up, so grabbing a stampede and… tech up to what? Hive combos super well with Stampede… but I’ll want ground cover also to pair with Stampede… he does have snapback though… Let’s actually do Void Star + Xeno, and wait to see if Arg gets snapped out. Can always tech 2x stampede next turn. Void Star is a Tiny B destroying machine, and Xeno + SotP would be deadly
Oh damn, he could and should have done the one on Mario (which would have killed him), and that would mean I need to change up my turn in a pretty meaningful way (turns lethal into just a tech2 break)

Okay, smoker isn’t as bad as Sensei, can’t be buffed. So Monk + Grave is safe-ish… as long as I don’t let Vandy safely level up for free, I think this works out okay. it’s a 50/50 on Hook , she has to spend 1 to do it, so doesn’t get to keep Vandy safe and tech up. Works okay, despite this rough hand of all the cheap units…
It doesn’t fizzle, I still get the wisp (arg is arriving, no conditional target selection that requires a decision for the wisp to arrive). Would you rather kill the wisp with Smoker then or no changes?
