Thoughts
Killing off the Tech 0 units leaves me with only Tax Collector to patrol. I can either add Rambasa Twins to that, or just go for Tech II and assume Iām losing something. Probably the Graveyard? That could be bad when Iām so down on cards, but Iāve put a Gorgon in, and I can maxband Bigby to draw that way). Yeah, letās just tech up.
Do I want to stash Rambasa Twins? It gives me less chance of drawing into a Tech II unit (20/28 vs.23/28), but ensures I have Rambasa Twins as a backup. Worker + Twins leaves 4 gold to do other things, so I donāt think it should slow me down too much.

Hmm, not the best turn to get hit with Free Speech. However, if I midband Orpal (3) and maxband Bigby (2), then the Cursed Ghoul (-4) putting his rune on the Argonaut gives me just enough damage to take down both Verdant Tree and Tech II. Iād still have the Ghoul to patrol with, and only Geiger and units he hastes are a threat, so I see no reason not to do this.

No worries. I guess itās a thin line to tread between your options for dealing with Abomination and your options for dealing with, well, everything else.
I actually think both Potent Basilisk and Dreamscape/Hallucination are proper answers to Abomination, my mistake was trying to force Geiger to work with them. Which is why Iām ditching him for my next experiment: [Truth]/Balance/Necro (also because Garth is amazing). You can stay on the same codex or switch, I donāt mind.
Sounds good, I think just change one codex at a time to see how it changes the matchup.

Man, shouldāve opened with Bigby and stashed Deteriorate. Oh, well.
Spectral Avenās going to be a pain until I get Deteriorate out, but with Graveās readiness I think he can stay alive by the skin of his teeth, thereās no way for Dreamfire to get enough damage out on his turn.
Main things I need to worry in midgame here is Manufactured Truth, either on a Tiny Basilisk or on my own stuff. That makes Rambasa Twins and the Law Tech I units good choices, since most of their benefit comes from an arrival effect. I need to be careful that Dreamfire canāt MT something of mine into a Rambasa Twin and kill it back into my codex, though. With that in mind, Iām going with the trust Tax Collector, plus a Crypt Crawler as a cheap blocker that isnāt too much of a problem if Dreamfire MTās a copy. Sickness would be nice against Basilisks or skeleton spam if Iād started with Orpal, but I didnāt.
ā¦ Crypt Crawler has a targeted ability, so I can take out the Aven with it next turn.
