Yeah, when you said I should play this deck instead of the Blood/Demon/Strength because you wanted to “avoid the mirror match,” the irony was pretty rich.
This was my first time playing the deck, and all I wanted from it was mirror shenanigans, so after Turn 3 I was completely satisfied. I was also so happy I lucked into drawing my Chaos Mirror on the final turn; it was just the way I wanted to go out.
I was pretty sure you had me for a while, though there might have been times when I could have gone up in Tech rather than concentrating on hurting your board. I tend towards hyper-aggression in most games. But it definitely didn’t help that I didn’t have any pre-defined game plans for a win condition. I loved your Bugbladder win. I’m reading through your thoughts now. (:
