On thing to remember with the spreadsheet, is that when you click one of the buttons (or fill in the box for mobile devices), it does multiple edits of the spreadsheet, so just hitting “undo” once will not revert all of them. You need to keep hitting undo until you see the edit you did before hitting the button change (or just use the revert to previous version as explained by holytispoon)

Thoughts

Dooming my nullcraft worked to my favor, and dooming his skeleton only meant I couldn’t spark it (which is the reason I can’t kill Vandy). I’m building a tower for detection because he seems to be rushing to metamorphosis, and I can’t prevent it. pinging Vandy so that she can’t safely kill Plasmo even if he has deteriorate.

Re-added Heroe’s Hall. Also, I realized I didn’t tech 2 cards on my T3 -_-. So I just added 2 cards to my discard pile this turn (that would’ve been my 2 teched cards, and teched another 2 for this turn). This gives me a strategic advantage for choosing my tech cards. Let me know if thats ok, or if you prefer to end it (I’d prefer not to go back at this point after everything.)

I’m totally cool with letting you choose you tech later, this is a chill casual game. However, you don’t get a card for the doomed skeleton who dies on your turn when he is no longer patrolling. Garth died on my turn, so you get his scavenger gold. It seems like you might have not used that extra card anyway, so perhaps you don’t have to redo the whole turn but take a look.

Oh really? I always played it differently. I guess I saw this happen from watching Codex Tournament play on Youtube. I guess that makes sense since the Readiness step occurs before upkeep. Ok I ended with 4 cards so did not make a difference for draw but will edit anyway. Thanks for being cool with the casual game.

Yeah, you only get patrol bonuses on your opponent’s turn. which is why Vandy’s opponent often leaves their doomed unit in the technician slot to get the extra card on their Vandy’s owner’s upkeep phase. Lots of people play lots of things wrong. I’ve had had my fair share of frustration with the rules, as Shadow can attest, but here on the forums there is a direct channel to Sharpo etc. (also on discord) and so you get the rulings from the people making them, which is much more reliable than a youtube video of a tournament played with time constraints.

Thoughts

I’m afraid going down 2 workers at this point will cost me the game, but am hoping that by clearing his board and weakening his buildings, it will give me enough board advantage to turn the game around and the chance to pick off tech buildings & tower if possible. Also his cards are low and I want to try and keep it that way. Killing Geiger here even though he only has 1 HP left to prevent card draw.

Thoughts

At this point I have changed my strategy to dishonorably go for the jugular. Thieving imp got a free 2 atk on his base. Plan to use Dark Pacts, and Gargoyle without spending the economy for tech 2, to hopefully be able to finish off his base! There is a cursed crow in there which for now I’ll ignore. I hope I can keep up the card draws and defend properly, before he regains compsure.

I think you’ve mistracked Orpal’s health for a while, and he should be dead if he attacks Vir:

He was 4/7 when Metamorphosis was cast on T4
He took a tower shot when he attacked on T5 (4/6)
He took 2 damage and a Tower shot on T6 (4/3)
Killed Prynn taking no damage on T7 (4/3)
He will take 2 damage and a tower shot if he attacks on T8, killing him

However, like I said, his health has been mistracked for a while, so I don’t know how you want to fix this…
