Standard opening. I imagine he will start Arg for starter spells or Rook for general defense. He has access to Growth Tech II, so I should be on my toes about MoLaC. He has Garth, so max Rook is susceptible to Nether Drain. Here goes my rush-down!

glhf!

Ew, what a split. Trying to make it hard for him to kill Grave, will tech some Grave spells next turn. Other than that just standard white stuff. I wish White had some more interesting Tech I choices, but maybe I’m just too rigid in my favorites.

Never lucky, my tech draw couldn’t give me Sparring Partner OR Rambasa Twin. I decided to just play 2 units, tech’d some Grave spells, but I’m thinking he might just kill him. Hopefully Martial Mastery will give me some insight into what he’s up to…

[details=Thoughts]
So, this was a great turn for me? It’s not like I broke his tech II or anything, but after seeing his next hand I don’t have any immediate tech II concerns. I made sure it will be VERY costly if he wants to kill Grave. He has the ability if he summons Arg (2g), Casts FF and RG (4g) on Birds and all out attacks him that’s 5 damage. He’ll get 2 levels on Arg and have 1g if he workers. I don’t think that’s a great turn for him. Sparring Partner is the prize, but he can kill it without casting spells. Next turn I should have some pretty good attacks and I need to tech up. I can rebuild my hand by maxing Grave and hopefully get some great attacks in. Let’s see how he manages his hand.

I’m feeling pretty far behind here, hard to imagine he doesn’t have a Doom Grasp coming. If he does, I once again lose a max-level hero to a pretty cheap trade (4 gold and his 0/1). The bright side is I got some value out of his ultimate and only put 4 gold into him, so gold-wise it’s parity. Those birds are seriously going to hurt and I don’t have good answers coming for some time, especially if Tech II gets broken. If Grave somehow survives I’ll have a good turn, but I doubt it. Sparring Partner readied but is in Tech because I anticipate both my heroes dying this turn, might as well get a card out of him.

You can’t summon Rook the same turn you start building your T2

Boy-oh-boy, lich’s bargain again. Fun tournament I’m having :rage: Uhh, I guess I should’ve seen this coming? Grave is alive, that’s cool. He’s spitting out units left and right and has a 3/3 and a 5/5 flying set of …tweety birds. There’s no way for me to get to the Ancient this turn. White doesn’t have Wrath of God in this game, so I think I’m done. I’ll play one more turn just so he can have some fun.
