Never having played this matchup, or anything quite like it, this is going to be interesting. He has a lot of hasted power at Tech 2, so I am going to need to get MoLaC down before he can break my tech 2 (tiny basilisk should be able to do a lot of work in this match up, but I don’t know where to tech him (I want 2 Fencers and at least one MoLaC by turn 3, so it doesn’t really leave much room, maybe wait till after Tech 2? But then tech lab balance and potent basilisk, which can’t be gunned down by tricycleoids…)
My Starting split is horrible and makes me feel bad (but hey, if I was only going to get a single one of my 6 starting units, at least it’s the most likely to survive, even if I can’t play a hero with it…), and all of my buffs are out next turn. Going for the young treant next turn, with the only bad draw being the tree (2 buffs and two techs, maybe the massive tempo I will have turn 3 will make up for this hand).

Thoughts
Put in both fencers to increase the chance for a hasty fencer to kill bigby, no such luck, which makes my next hand worse as I don’t want to play both, and I don’t have a second tech option like normal. Throwing out prospector to try and get increase gold flowing, and arg to try and give me enough units to beneficent of the rampant growth I’m drawing next hand. Expecting him to tech an Argonaut (good against weak units as can attack and defend, and probs a fencer? (if he’s seen my play style, injunction on my tech 1 next turn is a great idea, so I hope he didn’t tech it and draw it next turn).

Delaying Tech 2 by one turn to have something of a board when I get there. Two main options for my attacks,
Double Fencer + Arg mid to break tech 1 (Leaves me a decent board, but no patrollers, so I doubt my tech 1 would live next turn)
Double Fencer and Arg mid to kill his Tender foot and Fencer, but leaves him with a stong hero to easily max and fill stuff with, plus injunction would be brutal.
Fencer + Rampant growth with arg mid to kill Bigby, max banding arg. Gives me the water ele on defence, and removes the treat of injuction, and unless he teched double starlets, I don’t see how he can break my tech 1.
Not playing the Young treant this turn as I don’t want to draw the MoLaC (1/5 to probably lose). Teching plan had 3 options:
Tech Wandering Mimic + Potent Basilisk, building Tech 2 and and Tech lab (Balance). Adds more haste + powerful threats to the table, weak against Community Service (not playable next turn with out suicide River, but also weaker in the future). Also stops me using any other add on.
Same as above but Tech 2 Balance with Tech lab Growth. I can kill the tech lab later on once MoLaC is out, but gives him a better chance of stopping MoLaC next turn (not much, but some).
Tech Spells + tech 1 units. This allos me the greatest flexibility in that everything in my deck is easily playable, and since my win condition is MoLaC, having tech 1 instead of 2 doesn’t really matter unless he goes tech 3 Law.
I went with plan 3, as Having cards I can’t play in the event of my tech 2 being destroyed is what killed me last game
