there it is. only bummer with jandra is i can’t drop haunt with her as well.

i can’t really do anything to avoid a charged taxman. just going to be luck with his reshuffle at this point. at least the odds are slightly in my favor he DIDNT get it.

well, i can do either
-1. garth, skeleton, sk jav (nope, he can mid rook to walk past and kill garth)
2. jandra, vandy (great for if he swings hard at me. bad if he leaves jandra alive
3. mid vandy, sk jav (forces him to midband rook, or 2 for 1 against vandy with charged unit + dog).

-if he swings at me, i can drop bone collector and fencer hopfully. swing right back. drop river out there to replace vandy. i want her anyways for discord against his birds.
…if i whiff, it’s over anyways. P2 whiff is just deadly here

if he doesnt swing…i honestly think this would be the worst case scenario.

He can swing with vandy, jandra, deteriorate, fencers, sac is a no with birds out.Jandra kills GPT with deteriorate, vandy swings, fencers swing, that hits his hand pretty hard, but then again im down pretty far myself. Hitting his hand less, max vandy + a fencer, he can deal 5 overpower with jandra, and 4 and 2, that easily kills rook regardless what I do with him. I think that means I have to kill Jandra, max vandy on just a fencer is a lot better for me. If he didnt have fencers, maybe he walls up and I pick away at him next turn. I mean, he could just play BC and tech up, but I can kill that pretty easily. he can mid vandy and deteriorate, kill GPT then use fencer to kill rook and be forced to max a bird and fencer, not a great position for him there. Chances of wall seem good.

well, so happy he elected to kill jandra as it really simplifies my choices.

withouth deteriorate, i dont have any efficient ways to swing at him this turn. to play conservative, i can gg 7, worker 6, imp 3, tower 0. to which he can respond with gg 8, worker 7, tech 2 growth 3, brogre, 1, sql GPT, tech brogre, etc… —> at that point, i have no way to respond to molac coming on his reshuffle. birds all but guarantee he’ll get it at somepoint…

2nd option is to drop BC and tech up. allows me to bring out river/discord if i can, max garth would be on the table, etc… he can respond the same way, only attack with birds and taxman and put midband rook in sql. at least this way i get an even trade out of it and have my tech 2?

tempted to terras q, but honestly, chaos mirror might just one shot me…

seeing my tech 2 demon, he might respond aggressively with gg 8, worker 7,lvl 6 rook 2, rook and bird kill BC, gpt kills vandy, rook maxband, HH 0 (allows him to tech 2 chaos mirrror and counter demon). given that terras q is destroyed by chaos mirror, and i cant sustain units with banefire golem for now, im going dozer and discord for now.

long story short, nex turn, i’ll at least have options. a shot at discord, a shot at dozer, and minimum garth/deteriorate/sacrifice the weak.

Ok, I can trade off max zane to kill Dozer, but then im probably stuck with zane spells next turn, what a terrible draw here. I can max arg and wall up. not much else to do. i think ive probably lost this one. expecting something like gg 12, blooming ancient 8, zane, 6, surprise attack 1, mad man, 0, rune to sharks, shark kill river, zane kill skeleton, shark kill dozer, destroys fencer.

my two optinos are probably river, discord, dozer #2 (skip worker), or river, discord, fencer, skeleton, worker. I don’t see front dozer surviving (trigger death of second one and another unit), so option 2 it is! ill just put river and skeleton out there, and hope he doesnt draw 2 good cards. i can handle 1, but a combo would be tough. unfortunately, it seems likely that he will have what he needs to wipe my board.

hopefully i get death rites so i can swing back with garth and clear his board again. but honestly, he imght just go tech 3, which i think would be safest to clear me out. basically, whether he goes tech 3, BA, or Molac, i think im done. my codex doesnt eally have great responses to any of those.

not sure what strategy would have been best as P2. perhaps just wall up for 4 turns, dropping BC’s and graveyard? ill have to try that one next time.
